My Professional Experience

I am a GMC-registered Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with several years of clinical experience supporting children, young people, and their families in navigating a wide range of emotional, developmental, and mental health challenges.

I completed my medical degree and specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Italy, before retraining in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust training rotation.

I currently lead a multidisciplinary team in a specialist NHS Eating Disorder Outpatient Clinic, providing comprehensive care for young people with complex eating disorders. Alongside this, I have a particular clinical interest in ADHD and extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a range of mental health conditions, including:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Autism Spectrum Conditions

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I am trained in the use of gold-standard diagnostic tools for autism, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and research, and I am currently completing a Doctorate in Medicine Research (MD(Res)) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London (Eating Disorders Group, Psychological Medicine Department).

I have authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and I regularly present my research nationally and internationally.
