My professional experience
I have worked in a number of roles involving children and young people in the past 5 years. I started with invigilating in various schools and assisting with SEN students taking their GCSE’s, including reading and scribing for them, as well as general invigilator duties such as overseeing entire exams and ensuring strict measures were in place to maintain confidentiality across the exam period.
I also worked for Book Club Bunch as a reader which is a fantastic company providing bespoke book clubs for children aged six and above. I had to ensure the safety and well-being of groups of younger children whilst encouraging creativity in thinking, feeling, communicating and education through dramatic/group reading and guided response Q&A’s.
I then spent a year at the Bright Network as a Talent Team Member, making up to 300 calls a day to members to provide career advice and inform them of graduate opportunities and roles that would suit them.
Since graduating in 2013 from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, I have been fortunate enough to work in a number of professional environments. I feel that my training, skills and experience detailed above enable me to create a professional and yet close relationship with the associates that will ensure patients feel at ease and receive the attention and respect that they deserve. I very much enjoy engaging with patients and making sure they have the smoothest service and treatment here at the MindOf clinic.
